Throwback college days

College seems like a distant memory now. They were some of the BEST times. We, the bloggers, have been reminiscing of those times lately and thinking over of how great they were. Nowadays with jobs, grad school, and other happenings it is incredibly hard to meet up with one another. I can't believe there was a time when I got to hang out with my friends on a daily a basis. For those of you still in college, or with the opportunity to see your friends everyday, take advantage and cherish those moments because they're some of the best.  

The skit underneath is just a little bit of what we were up to in college. 

(At the library.)

(Darrin and Isaac are playing a video game in the back of the first floor.)

Jackie- Hey! Sorry I’m late.   

(Acting like being late is a first time occurrence but with 6 classes and actually having to study for them this was a common occurrence to which she had no idea about but most of her friends were accustomed to…..and more importantly cool with.)

 (Take a breath I know that was a long sentence.)

Darrin- Don’t worry we weren’t up to much.

Jackie- How do you guys get away with playing these video games here?

(Surrounded by a sea of productive students.)

Isaac- Oh yeah....... there are people working around us.

(Actually had no idea there were people around him.)

Darrin- We’re going to meet up with Kris right now you want to come?

Jackie- You mean the………………..art center.

(Laughs.)

Darrin- Yeah.

Jackie- But that’s like……. on the other side of the world.

Isaac- Or campus. You know but very similar.

Jackie-Give me one moment.

(Goes to purchase a few bottles of water, sun block, and a  snack.)

Darrin- Don’t you think you’re being a little overdr----

(Catches Jackie’s eye.)

Jackie- Over what Darrin

Darrin- Nothing……nothing I swear.

The Walk Across Campus

(The Walk normally took around 7 to 10 minutes.)

Jackie- Krriiiiiiiiiiiiiis.

(Kris is still really far away, however, Jackie swore to Darrin and Isaac that there were crows flying over her and that is why she needed to scream like a crazy person across campus.)

Kris- Oh... hey guys!

(Jackie is now crawling. ) (Looks at Isaac wearing one of his totally stylish jackets and wonders how he is not perspiring or for that matter looking so cool in the 105 degree weather that comes with living in the valley.)

Isaac- Hey man! You ready to eat?

Kris- Yeah sure where are you guys going?

Random- Hey Kris!

Darrin- Who’s that?

Kris-Kid I know from class.

Random #2- Hey man!

Jackie- Who’s that?

Kris-  Oh a buddy of mine from…

Random #3- Kriiiiiis

Jackie- That’s my line. 

Darrin- Dude still can’t get over how you know everyone at this campus.

Jackie- Yeah… Wait what was that kid’s name?

Lunch

Isaac- So yeah I have a new song coming out it’s pretty cool you guys should check it out.

Darrin, Jackie- yeah for sure

Kris- Have you guys seen the video Booty Warrior?

 (Kris always makes random out of nowhere comments that later become the topic  of conversation over the next month for the group. The real question is if he is actually listening to the conversation prior to making his month changing topics. Mystery of the ages.)

Jackie- Huh..

Kris- Well I was just looking at how many kids are sagging now… and you know back in my day things weren’t like that.

 ( Says back in my day a lot. If people did not know him they would think he was a lot older than he was and around this time he was only 22. )

Jackie- Oh…

Kris- Yeah so booty warrior it’s on you tube you should check it out.

 (The video really is on you tube. And you should really check it out. Or not. However, those of you with skinny jeans and who sag your jeans should definitely check it out.)

(Finished our meal.)

Darrin- We should do this again tomorrow.

Jackie- Sounds good to me.

Isaac- Yeah I’ll be around.

Kris- Have you guys seen the new Batman flick?

Darrin- Yeah like at 3 at the library.

Jackie- yeah for sure I’ll be there exactly at 3.

(Guys laugh.)

Jackie- Why are you guys laughing?
